Atomic Roms is a privilege, not your right. As such, you will be bound by the following rules when browsing through Atomic Roms:

1: Threatening the site or its staff. - We're here to provide the public with loads of fun in the form of freely available rom files, we aren't here to cater to your every whim and need. If you are feeling frustrated by something, PM an Admin about it. We do not however take kindly to threats to the site or the staff. Posting threats is a good way to get immediately banned, and if threats to a person's life are involved, reported to the proper authorities.

2: No giving the staff shit. - A moderator mods you for a post and you don't think it's fair, PM an Admin about it instead of throwing a fit in public. The latter will only serve to get you further in the hole. If an Admin mods you, there's nothing you can do about it, don't bother complaining. Furthermore, we have the mods around to do their jobs, if you see something that needs modding, use the report post feature found on the forums or send them a PM, let them take care of it.

3: Post like you have a shred of common sense and dignity. - This forum is provided for talk of your favorite games, help with roms and most anything else you wish to discuss. No one is asking for Five Star grammar, spelling and structure, but we do ask that you follow these three simple steps before posting: Read > Comprehend > Post. Step two is the most important. The most unforgiving eyesore in posts is internet slang and misuse of the Caps Lock key. While it may be cute on yahoo talking to cam whores, it's not cute here. The letter U is not a word, don't treat it as such. Ur however, IS a word and should only be used when discussing the ancient Sumerian city.

4: The Admins and mods are not your parents. Save your tears and man up. We (ESPECIALLY me) are not here to babysit. If rules are broken it will be dealt with, if no rules are broken and you want to complain, go cry yourself to sleep or hop onto Xbox Live and let them hear it. God knows there's enough babies there already.

5: Spam and the double post. - Spam threads will immediately be deleted and depending on the circumstances a warning or ban will be issued. Everyone on this forum has an edit button, double posting isn't acceptable as there is no combo multiplier or points to be had from it.

6: This is a rom site, not a warez repository. - Some of the files here at Atomic Roms may be shareware, trial, or demo versions of the program. If you like their program, great. Don't ask for programs, serials, cracks or keygens for any application here or otherwise.

7: The World Wide Web - We're here to meet new folks with similar interests, don't abuse the semi-anonymous nature of the internet here. We won't tolerate any bashing of other rom sites, or the members of said rom sites here. Please respect them and us by not stealing their links and posting them here and vice-versa. We don't do it and expect you not to as well. Mentioning their name in passing is fine, just don't make it a spam thread.

8: Offensive content goes in the /AR/ section only. Have a shred of common sense when using judgment on what will be considered offensive. An admin or mod will remove it at their discretion so don't whine about it if you think it's unfair.

These rules are a generalization and will apply in most cases, especially the Free for All section. There will be forums that will amend some or most of them, each will have a guidelines sticky thread if rules are amended.
