This thing kicks ass! I've been reading up at their forums today and we can play virtually ANY game that has netplay capabilities. We can even play emulators over it

I'm going to reinstall Gears of War, Borderlands, Resident Evil 5 and a few other games now, you can even play Co-Op on Gears of War using Tunngle

Gonna have tons of stuff that the whole community here can play! I'm going to see about starting an AtomicRoms clan/channel or whatever they call it

EDIT: Apparently there is no way to set up a channel or anything yet as the program is still in Beta. We can ask the Admins to set one up, but it seems they only do that for individual games/emulators that aren't already listed. Hopefully soon we'll be able to.

Sounds interesting. Please explain Tunngle in more detail.

It's a Virtual LAN program similar to Hamachi but 100x easier to use. With Hamachi users would have to start up their clients at the exact same time and hope that the virtual IP addresses would match to start a LAN game. Tunngle takes all of that headache out of the equation, you just fire up the program, enter a room, let your friends know what room you are in, someone is chosen to be the host, everyone else connects and you're playing

Okay, now I've got Resident Evil 5 installed, and Borderlands with all 3 DLCs reinstalled, so whenever anyone wants to play something just let me know

i tried to search for your IP since i just noticed your sig and it said no results so i guess you have to be online for the search to work.

i can't find my IP for some reason. the virtual ip in the corner is just a line...

Make sure that Tunngle installed correctly. The first time I installed it the installation failed and my USB keyboard and mouse stopped working

I had to load up Last Good Known Configuration and re-install Tunngle, then it started working fine. BTW, you don't have to worry about the IP, we just have to be in the same room, once I start hosting, you'll see "ninjalo" (no quotations) in the list on the title screen of Left 4 Dead 2, just click on it and you'll join the game

BTW Speed, you'll only get a Virtual IP once you enter a room, I forgot about that
